Installing on Windows.

Get the installer, then follow the steps below if Windows asks. Download for Windows.

If Windows says "Windows protected your PC"

Microsoft Defender SmartScreen shows this for programs it hasn't seen many people install yet. The installer is the same file published on GitHub.

  1. Click More info under the message.
  2. Check that the app name is XBLAHsModdingTool-win-Setup.exe.
  3. Click Run anyway. The installer opens as usual.

If your browser says the file isn't commonly downloaded, keep it. In Edge: hover the download, click …, then Keep, Show more and Keep anyway. In Chrome: click Keep.
