The title is the text on your mod's main menu. You design it in the tool, and the tool creates all the files and folders it needs.

1. Open the Title editor

Open Modding > Main Menu > Title

2. Set the title text

Source mods have a primary and a secondary title.

In the Half-Life 2 episodes, Half-Life is the primary title, and Episode One and Episode Two are the secondary titles. In Counter-Strike: Source, Counter-Strike is the title and Source is the secondary title.

Type the primary title in the Text field of the Title group, and the secondary title in the Text field of the Title 2 group.

This title only appears on the main menu. The mod's actual title, shown in the window title and in the Steam library, is the one set in gameinfo.txt.

3. Position the title

Set the horizontal position in the X field, from 0 to 640, and the vertical position in the Y field, from 0 to 480.

When the resolution is larger than 640x480, the position is interpolated to keep the proportion.

4. Pick the colour

Set the title colour in the Color field.

5. Change the font

Change the font family, size, weight and blur in the Font group. The font size is set for a 640x480 resolution.

The font settings apply to both titles. There is no way to give them different font settings.
